"Audiences change per network and even with each unique industry. Managing these communities takes more knowledge than a few hunches."
It got me thinking about the things I consistently use on Instagram business accounts to gain, maintain and engage Instagrammers. These are the things I return to again and again for ease of use and effective results. Combine these with Sprout Social's research for a super social media strategy.
1. Pablo by Buffer
This is one of my personal faves. Pablo provides you with the tools to quickly create engaging images for social media. It even has a feature to add a logo and an instant quote generator, should you need one!
"Words move people. Legend moves words."
This is a small (free!) app with big features. Quite simply it turns your text into animation. Behind the text, you can have an image of your choice. It has lots of different animation styles and colour-combos. You can download the animation as a video or gif to then use across all your social accounts (watch a demo on YouTube here).
Legend can make your message 'pop' on a timeline for relatively little effort. A real little gem - download and have a play!
This has been a long awaited change and provides a considerable advantage when planning your social media. You can quickly make use of Sprout Social's following insight without it interrupting your beauty sleep...
"...some of the highest engagement [on Instagram] was at 5 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. More likely than not, this is from people waking up and checking their phones first thing in the morning."
Remember to convert your Instagram account to a business account otherwise, you won't be able to automate your posts.
Learning the best times to post on social media is more than just turning a few clicks into a dozen. This data lets you understand your audience inside and out. And if you think these best times to post are the same across networks–you’d be sorely mistaken. Audiences change per network and even with each unique industry. Managing these communities takes more knowledge than a few hunches.
